ACE is offering a $10,000 scholarship to students who enroll in the Ed.D in Leadership program through June 2014. This makes the cost of the program around $21,000.

Seems like a fairly good deal for those who might be interested.

Interesting. Does anyone here have experience with them as a student?

I do not have first hand experience but am tempted....

I know a couple of teachers who have completed their M.Ed with ACE and they both had very positive experiences. Especially, obtaining a quality education without additional debt.

It turns out that they don't accept federal financial aid. So, hope you can come up with the tuition on your own!

I completed my M.Ed in Ed Leadership through ACE. I think its a great school for a cheap M.Ed. program. I had my payments taken directly from my paycheck via payroll deduction and it was about $190 per paycheck over 18 months.

Coursework- Generally speaking the following is required weekly; 3-4 readings, 2-3 short videos, a quiz, a discussion board and an assignment every week.

Sometimes the work didn't seem that bad. At other times, it took me hours to complete. It really depending on the assignment.

Worst part though was completing their portfolio as I found this worthless after the program.
